Head of Compliance & Risk Management
Judith is Head of Risk and Compliance for S&P Dow Jones Indices and a member of its Operating Committee. As Head of Risk and Compliance, Judith is responsible for designing and delivering the risk and compliance program in this division.
Judith joined S&P Global in 2002 and held legal, Analytical, Risk and Compliance roles at S&P Global Ratings until 2020. In 2020, Judith was appointed to lead the Compliance function for S&P Global Inc., where she led the corporate compliance program with a focus on Ethics, Global Financial Crimes Compliance and Conflicts Controls for the enterprise. Judith led the Compliance function through the global merger of S&P Global Inc with IHS Markit. After this merger in 2022, Judith moved back into the business where she seeks to combine Compliance and Risk practices to maximum effect.
Judith is a lawyer and prior to joining S&P Global, spent 10 years in private practice, where she specialized in international aircraft finance.
Judith studied history at Trinity College Dublin (BA Hons) and English and European law (with French) at University of Buckingham, UK (LLB). She is a solicitor, licenced to practice English law.
